10 Year Warranty
In Plain Language:
- The warranty covers only faulty materials and workmanship.
- Body signatures are normal in a Firm Mattress up to 32mm, Medium up to 40mm, and Plush up to 50mm.
- Your mattress will change/wear over its life.
- The life of a mattress 7-10 years.
- Soiling or staining your mattress will void your warranty (use of a mattress protector is recommended).
- The mattress must be used on a supportive base/foundation.
Using a posture slat or non-ventilated platform base will void your warranty. - Your body may take up to 30 days to adjust to your new mattress.
The Legal Stuff:
This warranty is provided by Bond & Markham, Hallam, Victoria.
This warranty is extended only to the original end-use purchaser and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.
Warranty against defects:
Bond & Markham warrants that its products, when delivered to you in original packaging, in new condition, from a supplier authorised by Bond & Markham and used in normal conditions, will be free from any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of retail purchase by the original end-use purchaser.
Warranty exclusions:
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance; unsanitary conditions; failure to follow care and protection instructions; use on a posture slat foundation, or slat foundation where the slats are more than 8cm apart, use on a foundation that does not provide adequate or even support, or a platform base without adequate ventilation. Accident; excess moisture; insects; unauthorised alteration or modification from original condition, damages caused by inadequate packing or shipping procedures; folding, bending, standing or jumping on the product; products purchased from unauthorised dealers; and any other reason which does not relate to defective manufacturing, materials or workmanship. Further, this warranty does not cover products that have been soiled, stained or are in an unsanitary condition.
Warranty services:
You must retain your original invoice as proof of purchase. Upon discovering a fault, contact Bond & Markham at in order to arrange for an authorised representative to inspect the product.
During the warranty period and subject to these terms and conditions, we will, at our sole option, repair or replace any defective mattress within a reasonable period of time.
Costs incurred:
Bond & Markham will not pay shipping, insurance or transportation charges from you to us, or for us to return a product to you after 12 months from date of retail purchase.
Care and Protection instructions:
In order to maintain the condition of the product, it is important that the mattress is rotated every month; a mattress protector is used; the original plastic packaging is removed and a base with adequate and even support is used. This is not an exhaustive list.
Note:
Body signatures in mattresses will develop over time and the mattress will soften. These are not defects.
Mattress changes in comfort level, as they wear, are not classified as faults and are not covered by this warranty.
Firm Mattress: expect up to 32mm signature
Medium Mattress: expect up to 40mm
Plush Mattress: expect up to 50mm

The benefits given to you in this warranty are additional to, and do not detract from, any right and remedies that you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
